The Boulevard

Evan and I have been taking walks in the evening. Tonight we just walked the Blvd at the entrance to our neighborhood. It goes around the back cove. You can see how fast the tide goes out, the picture at the bottom was when we first left and tide was in and then the one taken at sunset you can see the bay has emptied.

Houston Baby Shower

Was in Houston this weekend for Baby Liam's first shower. It was such a fun afternoon and was great to see everyone before Liam arrives! Here are a few pics of my ginormous belly.

Skyline Farm

Saturday we spent the afternoon at Skyline Farm's Pumpkin Festival. They had all sorts of fun things for the kids, carriage rides, cookie decorating, and face painting.

Who does Liam look like?

Went in for my 28 week appointment today (and my 5th ultrasound). Unfortunately they didn't find what I expected, a 30 pound baby, but instead found a 2lb 12 oz healthy little boy! These are some photos, which scare me a little but the Dr assured me it's just because he wiggles a lot. It was very different from past ultrasounds because he kept sticking his tongue out and looked like he was yawning. He's a big fan of sleeping with his arm over his face, he's been in similar positions at every ultrasound.

Picture 1: 4D - You can see in this one about 75% of his face. His right arm is crossed over the left side of his face, you can see his little fist. I think he's going to have Evan's nose, thank goodness.Picture2: 4D - Profile shot so his arm is hiding his nose.

Picture 3: 2D - This is a snapshot in 2D of his face, you can see his right eyelid is open a little. I think the shape of his face is like mine, but he has fuller lips like Evan. Can't tell much on the shape of his eyes here, but when we were looking at the technician's screen, they seemed to be shaped like Evan's.Picture 4: 2D - This is the 2D profile shot. Cute little man!

Fall Boat Ride

This past weekend was our last weekend on the boat. Many of the leaves are just starting to change along the coast, but you can see come color.

It's a Boy

Ok so I realize I am very late in posting these but here are the photos from my 8-19-2008 ultrasound.

1st BC Tailgate

A few photos from our first tailgate of the season.

Clearview Farm

Evan's Aunt is a descendant of Mary E. Sawyer, better known as Mary from Mary had a little lamb. Mrs. Keefer and I spent the afternoon at the farm where Mary grew up picking apples, peaches and tomatoes. They are in the process of rebuilding Mary's birthplace, after it was burned last summer.
